Questions
Can it delete something by accident?
No. Every deletion needs your explicit confirmation — the app never removes anything on its own. Deleted photos go to the Recently Deleted album, where iOS holds them for 30 days before they are gone for good.
How does Smart Merge decide which copy to keep?
It marks the best copy in each group — normally the highest resolution — and pre-selects the rest for removal. You can change the selection before confirming.
Does it scan in the cloud?
No. Scanning is 100% on-device. There is no account, no upload and no data collection.
Does one purchase cover both my devices?
Yes. It is a universal app, so one purchase covers iPhone and iPad on the same Apple Account.
